The health and safety of our staff, campers, parents, guardians and volunteers is of the utmost importance. To ensure their safety, STEM Education Mobile has implemented the following protocols and procedures in accordance with the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and requirements of Kansas Department of Health & Environment (KDHE)
Precautions at STEM Education Mobile Camps:
Instructors and campers that are sick or exhibiting symptoms are required to stay home and won’t be permitted into the program. Participants who become sick during camp time will be immediately sent home.
All instructors are strongly encouraged to wear masks based on CDC recommendations.
Screening for signs and symptoms will be conducted for all participants before entering the building.
Group sizes will not exceed 14 people (2 staff: 12 students).
Program spaces and materials will be disinfected after each activity and before closing for the evening.
Students will have individual robotics kits and an ipad that will be assigned to them during the camp. Each kit and ipad will be disinfected daily.
Social distancing practices will be followed. Instructors and students will remain 6-feet apart when ever possible.
Precautions at Drop-Off and Pick-Up:
During drop off and pick-up times, parents and guardians will be asked to remain in cars. For individuals requiring entrance, a log will be kept including date, time, name and contact information.
Parents/guardians who are self-quarantining due to close contact with a COVID-19 individual should not do drop-off or pick-up.
By registering your child, you are acknowledging you have read and agree to the terms and conditions.
